Character description
Character Name
Symbolism of name:
Francesca: A German name that means “A free woman,” I think that her name suits her character very well because through the novel you will find out that Francesca wants to be a free woman and make her own decisions in life.
Mia: An Italian name that means “Mine” I’m not so sure why this character has been given this name, it’s probably because Mia believes that what she knows is always right.
Speech:
Francesca: Strong willed, not always confident about herself, constantly battling with her mum about what best for her, credible array of emotions and hostile at times.
Mia: “Like mother like daughter” I think that Francesca and Mia (Francesca’s mother) are a lot alike in certain ways.
Appearance:
Francesca: A 16 year old girl who is, out going and bubbly is now completing year 11 at St Sebastian’s school. To me Francesca seems like a well presented young woman. Francesca’s has shoulder length, straight hair and dark brown eyes. Francesca is a tall and skinny girl….
Mia: Francesca’s mother who she explains to be happy, loud, in charge, out rogues and speaks her mind. Through the book her mother has depression and is unable to get out of bed, so really you never get to see Mia’s real character.
Actions:
Francesca: Is an emotional person and she reacts to people in different ways depending on the way she feels at the time.
Mia: In the beginning of the book Mia is depressed; Mia doesn’t really communicate with people at all only a little bit with her husband. But that all changes when jimmy is introduced into the house…..

Film Review: Dukes of Hazzard
(Mr. K, I was away and this is done without the worksheets completed I will fix up later after the worksheets are complete)The “Dukes of Hazzard” a comedy action movie, it’s packed full of dirt track racing cars, the sexy persuading sister and cousin (Jessica Simpson), rebellious cousins who are closer then brothers putting the law into their own hands with exciting stunts and in a hilarious fun way. The film’s full of awesome good sense of humour characters such as: Johnny Knoxville as Luke Duke, Seann William Scott as Bo Duke, Jessica Simpson as Daisy Duke, A.J. Foyt IV as Race Car Driver #1.
